LOS ANGELES - was taken to hospital after suffering a heart

attack Thursday afternoon, TMZ.com reports.

The popular celebrity website reported 's father, Joe , said the

King of Pop " is not doing well, " and that family members are headed to UCLA

Medical Center.

Paramedics were reportedly performing CPR on the legendary singer inside the

ambulance.

According to the website, a 911 call from 's Los Angeles home came in at

about 12:20 p.m. Thursday.

Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Capt. Steve Ruda told the L.A. Times that

was not breathing when they arrived at his home.

was planning a comeback tour with a series of 50 sold-out shows at

London's O2 Arena, with the first show scheduled to take place on July 13.
