Guest guest
I haven't even had to have surgeries yet, and I get the " I feel sorry for me " syndrome! RA sucks! The pain, fatigue, potential loss of use of normally taken for granted body parts...yeah, it sucks. I don't blame anyone for going thought periods of feeling sorry for themselves. I think if you didn't, that would make you a little strange! LOL! Hang in there!! Cami > > My worse fears will come true, I need surgery done AGAIN. Guest guest
Barb, I'm sorry you've got to have another surgery. I understand just how you feel. I think I've had 9 surgeries. Even though they have helped, I agree with you that it's still very difficult to face them. My family keeps asking when I'm going to get my ankles done. I just can't face another surgery right now. You have every right to feel sorry for yourself. You've been through so much and sometimes it seems like we'll never see the end of these surgeries. Yes, we are grateful that they are available, but it's still difficult to endure. Bringing x-rays won't help. I have ID cards showing my knee replacements, but it won't stop the searching. I personally don't mind if it means we are safer. I've flown 4 times in the last year and they have been very courteous and accommodating to me. a On Nov 28, 2005, at 6:47 AM, Barb wrote: > My worse fears will come true, I need surgery done AGAIN. Guest guest
Barb, So sorry to hear about another surgery. Thankfully I have not had to have surgery yet. What is wrong with the thumb? My thumb moves down but won't move up. I hope everything goes ok for you. You will be in my prayers.
