Guest guest
It's hard to find someone to do it, but there is not much that cannot be treated this way. Read E. Guest guest
There's someone here who does it. But what exactly is the target? I never called because I didn't know WHY--I was severely underweight from adrenal failure, which is why it was suggested. Is the proposed mechanism of action the antioxidant power or what? Also, doesnt it hurt? Being an acid and all? Id imagine the only side effect would be diarreah but yeah... Guest guest
Hey Kassi, Actually you do not get diarrhea with IV vitamin C, unlike oral vitamin C, even with dosages in the many 10's of thousands of mg. IV vitamin C is primarily used for systemic infectious diseases, especially viruses, but also all other pathogens and their associated toxins. many of these diseases can be eliminated within a matter of hours and there are no side effects with proper dosing and a knowledgeable practitioner. And no, it does not hurt at all. I got hepatitis from a restaurant several years ago and received IV vitamin C treatment which required dosages in the hundreds of thousands of mg. and I felt nothing unusual. I was cured within a day with no side effects. I honestly have not heard of it being used for adrenal failure, but I supposed it would depend upon what the cause of your adrenal failure is. It is definitely a potent antioxidant and exerts its healing power this way. > There's someone here who does it. But what exactly is > the target? Guest guest
Kassi, I also forgot to mention that vitamin C also promotes oxidation by donating electrons to oxidation promoters like copper and iron. Proper cellular communication is essential and establishes and maintains the body's magnetic fields necessary for good health. Vitamins C enhances the flow of electrons, maintaining proper cellular communication. Poor electron flow seems to be associated with the disease state, and vitamin C can help restore health by reversing this. Perhaps this will be significant for you in terms of your adrenal failure. > There's someone here who does it. But what exactly is > the target? Guest guest
Thanks Kassi and . I've come across a medical group here in town that does this, along with IV glutathione, IV EDTA, IV DMSO (explain this one, isn't it pretty bad?) and IV alpha lipoic acid. Sparked my curiosity. I've put a word into Allie's doc about them, still waiting, just curious what it could actually help or if anyone's done it. Debi
Guest guest
My Grandpa was treated for Cancer with IV vitamin C. He had a huge tumor the size a a very large Grapefruit in his groin area. The doctors had given him a week to live and refused services. He went to an alternative clinic in Phoenix Arizona that promises the ability to cure cancer, because he had no alternative. Within 3 weeks, #1 he was still alive, and #2 his tumor had shrunk to about the size of a quarter. Then of course the doctors changed their mind and were willing to see him as they said that they could now save him. They removed the tumor and he was cancer free for 7 months and then wasn't feeling so well, and the doctors did another cancer test and said that it was not cancer, that he probably had the flu and to rest. He rested and never woke up. Thankfully he had already gotten to say goodbye to everyone 7 months before, but it was very unexpected. After running a few tests again to see what he had died from they found that it was indeed cancer, but in an entirely different area. I am not sure, but I believe that if he had been able to afford to keep doing the rest of the treatment that the Alternative Medicine clinic recomended he would have gotten all the cancer out of his system. They recomended three months of the Vitamin C IV treatments, but he only did 3 weeks because he thought he was better and couldn't afford the rest. Of course I also believe that God knows what will happen and took him home when it was the right time for him and he even gave him an additional 7 months, but I strongly believe that the Vitamin C IV treatments helped and so did he. He and my grandma and family were so thankful for those shots. He said that they did not hurt and of course getting rid of that tumor I am sure they helped him feel better. He told everybody he had never felt more energy in his life and he had even been a farmer who got up every morning at 4am and was in wonderful shape, never drank, smoked, chewed, anything never even drank cofee or cafenated beverages. So who knows. I don't know how Vit C IVs are supposed to help with anything else, but obviousely Vitamin C is a very needed thing in our systems. Hope this helps. Guest guest
All this makes sense, as to why it'd clear stuff up. I have no high hopes for ANYTHING and my pituitary gland-where the adrenal failure lives-but I always have a low level cold or sinus infection or other bug since being put on prednisone so I don't die from adrenal crisis. So it might be something to look into in the future. Guest guest
Thanks for sharing this, Esther. I'd heard similar stuff but never from someone who'd SEEN it-why I asked how it worked. I notice that you said he'd never had more energy in his life...once I have money (ha!) this is looking more and more like something I should look into, not so much for the adrenal thing, or even the epilepsy thing, but for the " I-eat-healthy-and-take-good-supplements-and-am-still-always-tired " thing. For some reason food runs right through me and I don't absorb much. And I'm glad you got that extra 7 months with your Grandpa. Guest guest
Kassi, ever try enzymes? I also went to school with a boy who, at age 16, had never even entered puberty. Turns out he had an intestinal problem where his body didn't asborb particular nutrients. A central line, 2 IVs a day and six months later that little guy had grown over a foot, hit puberty, and no one knew who he was. I've often wished I had found out exactly what his condition was, thought about him much since all this autism/gut stuff. Guest guest
I did indeed try enzymes. They made me REALLY tired, of all things. I've been gluten free a year and a half or so now and that has helped, but better doesnt always equal good. Kassiane --- Debi wrote: > Kassi, ever try enzymes?
