Guest guest
Of course there are. But your sort of preaching to the choir here. I mean no disrespect. I just happen to believe that people like that, with that type of belief will meet their maker and hear the words “I do not know you, depart from me”, and get to spend eternity in Hell. All we can and are instructed to do is plant seeds. If those seeds fall on hardened hearts like Flynts, then so be it. I cannot and will not live my life angry at these types of people. I learned a long time ago that unless or until someone is touched on a personal level by people with special needs, or they are just lucky enough to have a heart to begin with, they do not get it. If we each one teach one, then we make the world better one person at a time. No other way to do it. Unless you are blessed to do it on a broader level, but I am not. For this one article will fall on more deaf ears than it will change caring people into hardened ones. But every article that shows a special person touches far more people and opens up far more hearts than that article closed off. Articles like this just make us angry, but it does not turn caring people into hardened ones. Not sure this paragraph is making sense, but it does in my head. LOL Romero Live simply. Love generously. Larry Flynt Calls Trig Palin “Brain Dead Virtual Vegetable”by Ertelt | London, England | LifeNews.com | 5/27/11 11:41 AM Palin’s son Trig is in the news again following the liberal blog Wonkette bashing her and saying her son, who has Down Syndrome, is “retarded” and “somewhat alive.” Now Hustler published Larry Flynt has gotten in on the attacks.Flynt is no stranger to controversial comments over the years as the head of the soft-cord pornographic magazine and a free speech advocate, but his comments about Palin’s son may be some of the most over-the-top remarks he’s made to date. In a new interview with the London Independent newspaper, Flynt rambled from topic to topic until he settled on Palin, who is considering whether to run for the Republican nomination for president this year.“ Palin is the dumbest thing. But I made a fortune off of her. [He made a porn film called Nailin' Palin, based on her],” he said. Then, he went after Trig, saying, “She did a disservice to every woman in America. She knew from the first month of pregnancy that kid was going to be Down’s Syndrome. It’s brain dead. A virtual vegetable.”Flynt followed up on the Wonkette theme — that Palin is supposedly exploiting Trig by having him with her at some political events — by saying, “She carries it to all these different political events against abortion, she did it just because she didn’t want to say she’d had an abortion. How long is it going to live? Another 12, 15 years? Doesn’t even know it’s in this world.”“So what kind of compassionate conservative is she? I don’t think anybody will want her near the White House,” Flynt added. The London Independent reporter, Johann Hair, was left speechless: “I am so thrown by the unpleasantness of all this I don’t even interject.”In its attack on Palin and her disabled son, the Wonkette post commented on his birthday and said, “What’s he dreaming about? Guest guest
I agree completely. When i heard about his comments, I thought that it wouldn't be any use saying anything to him about it, because he is so morally bankrupt to begin with that he doesn't care about right or wrong. And he is like fighting a pig...you both get dirty, and the pig loves it. Sometimes people say things just for the shock value, and they love it when people react to it because they love the attention. Guest guest
I think we all take the remedial classes for life. Thank God we have our mentors with us to help, you are so right! I am just starting on my “advance forgiveness class 101” taught by Professor God, and the curriculum is much harder than I expected! I may have to repeat this class a couple more times before I ‘get’ it. In this area our children are the experts and we are the ones that need the remedial help. I am very glad I have a mentor like my daughter to show me the way! Prayer changes things.~ Multi-faceted Jules Wherever I stand, I stand with Israel. I had never looked at it that way. As Tristan has gotten older, I realize people like this are missing out! It's their loss, and I usually feel more pity for them than anger. (Notice I said " usually. " lol)Shari Of course there are.
