Welcome to the Stills family! My name is Barbara and I've had Stills Disease

for 17 years.

It sounds like your doctor either isn't very knowledgeable about Stills

Disease (did he diagnose it?) or he doesn't relate well to patients. It's

important for you to be able to get answers from your doctor, even if the answer

is " I don't know. " At least it's an honest response. Many of us receive a good

deal of information through this group, but your Rheumatologist should be able

to answer questions or find answers to your questions. Have you considered

another Rheumatologist? Some of us have to travel a bit to get to the right

doctor, but it is worth it. Good luck and again, welcome!

the stillsdisease.org site. If not for this site I would be completely

lost. My doctor literally told me I have this and gave me meds and

said see you in 2 months. I went back yesterday with list of questions

and refuses to answer them. I appreciate the ssupport and education I

have received from this. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of with
