Wanted to emphasize how being physically active can relieve some of the mental anxiety that our kids go through. My son's OCD has not gone away but it has gotten better partly due to the fact that if he keeps busy he tends to forget what he was obsessing about. However, like I said it's only temporary.For ex: he plays hockey now and sleeps better, doesn't think about anything else so that's a positive but we still deal with it just on a day to day basis which is what I think is all we can do sometimes.
