Guest guest
I to lack how to do that and the story will be read by one of the radio peoples as i to asked of them to do that as too much anxiety for me to do that but it will be only a 1-3 minute time frame so it is ever so brief but was enough to be to let her be one of the winners. the wonners get the chance to have of thems story read. those who to ahve of their story read then get added to a grand prize things and so if Aimee wins of that they will give her a full day at a spa to get of facial, massage, manicure and such things as the most womans like, she will win tickets to a water park and a whole day of company coming to clean of the house. I to not be sure of there was more but this is of what i to remember. Aimee likes to do woman things of a manicures and such and for me not like any things like that. it causes me great inner senory agitations and avoidance. i to not like polish as it is of too much sensory for me as it is of wet and cold. Anyways it is of the 104.9 the river and one can go to the web site to see if they are transcripting the stories. Sondra In Autism_in_Girls , EbuyerMTC@... wrote: > > Sondra, > How wonderful. Guest guest
Thanks, Sondra. I'll try to locate it. This is such a terrific thing. How is the baby? Melinda
Guest guest
Sondra, when Abby had a lot of colic or gas we would make a cup of chamomile tea. I would mix about an ounce with an ounce or two of warm water. It worked for Abby, maybe it will work for Delaney. Hope she finds relief soon. Guest guest
she is getting big and such and weighs maybe 11-12 pounds already. but she to has of colic much bad and begins her scream cries around 6 and does not let up until 11-12 each night she is usually hoarse at the end of it all. she is being breat fead and we use of hte baby gas things but nothing seems to be helping. Aimee is a low dairy to no dairy like person because she does not like it and it does cause her little bumps to get on her legs and arms. But i to suspect some things she is eating is causing the babys tummy to get into spasms. I can be to calm the baby for a good hour or more by working iwth her and to try of very different positions until she settles to one. Aimee tries over and over and the baby seems to not find a comfort place with her yet. I to try to get Aimee to model of the holds I to find works for me with Delaney but aimee tries them and she screams through them. she is much a strong willed set into her ways baby. She wants of her me ma to do it. I to be to ahve less anxiety over the baby than Aimee but all new mommies have of this because they never been of one before and are learning and not have a clue what to do. i to be to felt that with Aimee too maybe this is why first borns are so much the way they become because their first part of life was with a very anxious mom. but I to encourage Aimee and let her know this is all normal things some babies do and she is normal to feel overwhelmed and anxious in this too. But during the day I to tell aimee when the baby is of calm practice the bonding things then and hold her talk to her an such so it will balance out the ugly time of evening. Goodness, I had forgotten until you said this, but I remember accidentally eating some casserole with a little broccoli in it while I was breast feeding Allie. She reacted IMMEDIATELY after her next feeding, and screamed with pain for hours and hours. It was the worst bout of colic she ever had. I never did that again! What other things can cause that kind of reaction? Sandi (Allie's Mom) Houston
Guest guest
Will other flavor teas work or types of tea be of okay too. I to also have a heavey weighted pack with lavendar in it and you put it in the microwave and so was thinking to do this but not leave it in as long as it to says but maybe 45 seconds instead of 1 minute and to assure it is not hot will be to lay it on her lower back in the late of afternoon to see if the warm and pressure helps of her or maybe will get of the heater patch things and place one on inside of a blanket with enough padding to not get too hot but to warm the tummys up. she is of ever so much into pains it hurts ofme to see of her to scream and trying hard for me to emotionally remember why the tears are coming so can cope it. if i to not be to remember to keep saying over and over it is because she hurts then my own coping is not of well. Guest guest
Hi Sondra, My youngest was very colicky -- to the point where I just stopped breastfeeding him. I tried everything -- bouncing him over my legs, elimination diet for me, meications, visits to the pediatrician. Nothing worked until I stopped breastfeeding. He stopped the 6 hour/day crying in about a week. I'm trying to remember the formula we used, I think it was a soy one. We never used dairy after my oldest showed he was violently allergic. We never found out why the youngest didn't fair well with breastmilk. It seemed strange since my first 2 were breastfed for their first 12 months. Good luck! --- sondra wrote: > Will other flavor teas work or types of tea be of > okay too. Guest guest
Broccoli seems to have been of the culprit that one time for the baby too and Aimee had drinked of an orange soda whichis full of sugar so i to suspect of that and I to fixed of ham and soup beans that week to to keep up Aimees protein but forgot of this going to the baby now I to know why she was ever so stressed poor baby but we are not being more careful. She is such a funny faced baby and makes some funny faces at people somtimes she tries to put her chin to her chest and tries to focus but her eyes go crossed it is of funny to see that.
