Guest guest
, don't feel bad about posting what you did. That's what we are here for. You've got to call your physician today and tell him/her, in great detail, what you told us. Your situation is simply awful. They can't expect you to wait in pain for that long. Not an MD I'll tell you where to go! Guest guest
The only drug that has ever taken away 85% or more of my pain at any given time is Norco. It's vicodin with Tyleonol in it. I can't take a lot, because of the methotrexate, but when I just can't take it any more.....It's also not easy to get and when I use up my current bottle I'll be poop out of luck because I don't see the neurologist who was generous with it any more and my rheumatologist has made it clear he'll never prescribe anything but tramadal. It's very depressing sometimes, but I just try to make the best of the time that I can have some relief. It's time for someone to take you seriously and give you something that works. I pray that you'll get the proper treatment soon. laura --- ltlmisscrankypants <ltlmisscrankypants@...> wrote: > Hi everyone. > > I feel bad about posting this, but I need to vent. > About 2 weeks ago, I > became quite ill with vision/depth perception > problems and my right leg > went numb. Guest guest
: Thanks so much for the response. I will ask my doc about it when I see him next week. I have also used the pain patch, and didn't notice any benefit in wearing it. I told this to my Pharmacist, and he told me to put two on at once, seeing as I was only wearing a 25mg one and the next dose higher was 50mg. Still....no change in pain, only dizziness. I managed to get help to have a hot shower this afternoon. Bought a new flannel night shirt that is extra big. Had my bedding all washed for me, and got help getting in and out of a very hot bath tonight. I've topped up my pain meds, and I am feeling a bit better. I know it's only temporary, and tomorrow the pain will return. THANK GOODNESS FOR SOFT FLANNEL NIGHT SHIRTS!!!!!!!!!!!! Ladies, for those of you who don't own a flannel night shirt, go out and get one for winter. Get it larger than usual so it doesn't twist and catch when you move in bed. I Take care,
