Guest guest
Judi: I can believe someone said that! I had the most stupid comments made to me over the years. I had too many people to count say... " OH GOD I feel sorry for you, I would kill myself if that happened to me! " or my favorite question was, " You're not going to have any more are you? " I would get so sick of that question and say " Actually I just came from the dr. and found out I'm expecting twins! " LOL One guy got into a heated argument with me, blaming ME for his insurance rates going up. " Because all YOU women go and get that fertility treatment and the government helps you guys out and I have to pay for it! " Needless to say I let him have it. I didn't get any help from the government and buy all my own diapers and formula. Some people are so stupid. And my two funniest comments, " Are they identical? " (2 are dressed in pink and one in blue) and I say, " Well, except for his penis! " LOL LOL LOL My second favorite was, " What country did you adopt them from? " (my husband is Filipino so my kids all have black hair lightly tanned skin and I am a blonde). I can't believe she thought I had adopted them. And if I had, do you think I would want to talk about that with a total stranger? LOL Bobbi > > Bobbi, > > Since you have triplets, you will appreciate this--my daughter has > triplets too (they are 2 1/2 now--what fun!) Guest guest
My four children (now all grown) are adopted. When we adopted the last 3 (at the same time) our Pastor, whom I dearly loved and was a good friend with, said with aghast, " Well, I'm glad it's YOU and not ME! " I just smiled sweetly and said, " Me, too. " Love... Tess in Oregon
Guest guest
People can ask the stupidest and funniest questions. My BIL and SIL adopted a Korean baby girl and brought her home at age 5 months. They were out one day and had a lady ask them " How in the world are you going to teach her to speak English since you don't know Korean " Bobbi <mom2triplets@...> wrote: Judi: I can believe someone said that! Guest guest
Oh, that is so funny! My children are half Japanese. When they were very young, a woman told me that they were cute and asked where I got them. Well, in the delivery room, of course! Not an MD I'll tell you where to go!
