Guest guest
Hi Channing, I am so sorry you have been treated poorly. This is a wonderful group of people, very kind-hearted and interested. I live in Massachusetts. My daughter is fourteen years old today! Yes, it's her birthday and she tells me she was thirteen for too long! She is beautiful and creative and she is the light of my life. She has Autism. Your questions: 1. We have a guinea pig named So-So. She is brown and tan. 2. I do like music. 3. I like all kinds of music but especially folk music. I don't have very much free time but you can always email us here on this list and I'll bet several of us will respond to each email. Have a good day or night, and keep reaching out to people. My Aimee tells of me i to must be to like the EE sound because much of al the names of my children and pets end with that sound and I to thinked on it and yes this is of true except for my one son ends with the ah sound. I to be to like to stim off the bee sound because of the EEE which is of a deep throaty feeling when stressed. I have of autism too. I to nto be to have of the aspergers type but regular autism but now as adult can present like one with Aspergers at times but my whole early childhood history tells professionals of me being autistic. I to like a variety of music, classical, insturmentals, contemproray christian and old southern gospel, I to love of some of the older versions of country, I to like some hip hop and some of what is of termed columbian hip hop. I to actually like most music except much of todays rock or heavy metal as it is of referred to makes me overloaded quickly and the one son of me likes this new stuff of tecno? yucky and so over stimmy it makes me feel anxious and agitated quickly. I to like of this list to be to come here because it is of a good list for me. I to ahve of a few favorite on line lists here are a few I to be of active too. abiplusrdi aspergersinwoman Aspires several ohio related lists Me list (strictly ABA list) Pittsburgh autism aspergers/autism? several bio medical list girls with autism These are just a few of the lists I to joined and like and have been of there for long times to a few lists. Guest guest
Sondra, that's interesting you are irritated by techno. I find many of the synthesized instruments to have a very irritating, clangy sound that almost sounds like nails scratching on a chalkboard. Guest guest
It makes of me hyper and over stimulated to teh point of overload quickly so not like teckno music at all but the son who is very hypo in many fashions loves it so maybe it is because it regualtes him to a higher level of being able to function and or attend the world around him , like gives of hims brain a boost in energy where he is of usually low. Guest guest
Hello Tom and the rest of the gang, Things are going ok around here i'm at work right now it's the only place where i can check my e-mail right now unless i hear otherwise. So anyways other than that things are going quite well with me and my girlfriend natalie. She's such a sweetheart and i really enjoy talking to her. Our phone calls my be rather brief but we cover alot of ground in a good ten minutes or so. So what's new with you guys? or as my grandma schmitz would say " what's shaking? " . Well i just heard from my boss that due to the recession they're having me work only 3 days a week instead of 4 otherwise i'd be working for free and that wouldn't be worth anything. So to me it just means an extra vacation day added to my week and i have no problem with that. Understandably so the more work you do the more you get paid but Bobby (my friend, sponsor and boss at work) pays me very well even if i'm working 3 days a week i still get the same amount i make per month. So anyways other than work things are going ok. What's cracking with you guys and gals? Anything new going on? Did you hear about the solar storm we might be having some time soon if not in the near future? They say the one after this one would be in the year 2013. Anyways that's a wrap i hope to hear from you soon, good luck in all you do. Signed, Greg
