In 1999 I was dx with osteoporsis , then in 2003 was told " now you also have rheumatoid arthritis, today was told " we believe you have fibromyalgia! " I don't know anything about this disease. Are all these diseases connected? Can having one, go into the next one? All I know that I am in a lot of pain from my left hip and leg. A slight change in the weather, turns my world upside down. I do take Tramadol HCL 50mg , depending on pain one or two per day. My regular doctor wants me to sign up for a clinical study using the drug Pregabalin. Reading the side effects, there are some life- threatening ones. I also have heart diseases, and have been told this summer, that I have had a small heart attack. I would like to ask if anyone has taken this drug before, or what is known about it.
