Getting district to pay for out of district placement

Sorry, I sent the last e-mail without the subject.

Has anyone ever been successful at getting a school district to pay for

residential treatment? If so, how was it accomplished? My dd has already been,

but the bills we are left with are substantial. So, I am trying to see if I

could recoup some of the cost from the school district. They were the ones that

recommended that she go to a treatment facility in the first place. Thanks,
