Attorneys for Trunnell have filed a petition in district court seeking to discover what role a Mexican pig farm owned by field Foods Inc. may have played in the swine flu outbreak, the Austin American-Statesman reported Wednesday. " The conditions in which they allow this pig farm to operate ... would not be allowed in the United States, " says attorney Marc Rosenthal of the Texas law firm Rosenthal and . Trunnell's wife, Judy, 33, was the first U.S. citizen to die of swine flu. She had delivered a healthy baby girl by Cesarean section several days earlier. Health officials said she had " chronic underlying health conditions " but her husband said that was incorrect and his wife enjoyed excellent health.
