Guest guest
Donna has written 9 books to my knowledge but I am not about to make insulting remarks about Raven because nobody is infallible. and Lawson RE: Intimacy and Asperger Syndrome gprobertson wrote: " I stand corrected. In Australia she has not been talking about her personal life publicly to my knowledge. " It's a BOOK, gprobertson, which means that she's talked about her personal life publicly on a GLOBAL level! As for Donna , her life is an open book ... four to be exact. She discusses her romantic relationships and her marriages (to Ian and to Chris) and then goes on to discuss them online at various blogsites and websites. Yes, respected Autistics are talking publicly and globally about their relationships, gprobertson. I can't believe that you weren't aware of those facts! " Fact of the matter is, four of them deal specifically with her life (autobiographical). The original comment you made was that Donna (and Ms. Lawson) have not spoken publicly about their personal lives. I corrected you by stating that Ms. has written four books that deal specifically with her personal life, addressing her two marriages (to Ian and to Chris) and her romantic life. The other five books written by Ms. are not autobiographical as evidenced by their titles. 1. Autism and Sensing: The Unlost Instinct 2. Exposure Anxiety - The Invisible Cage: An Exploration of Self-Protection Responses in the Autism Spectrum 3.Autism - An inside-out Approach: An Innovative Look at the Mechanics of Autism and Its Developmental Cousins 4.The Jumbled Jigsaw: An Insider's Approach to the Treatment of Autistic Spectrum " Fruit Salads " 5. Not Just Anything: A Collection of Thoughts on Paper (a collection of her poetry and prose) Contrary to your comment implying that I was WRONG in my previous post about Ms. ' books, I am CORRECT. Perhaps now you will cease and desist with the passive aggressive digs towards me, gprobertson? One can only hope! Raven
