I have a 15 year old son who has been diagnosised with OCD since he was 9. It waxes and wanes. We have been blessed with some great help in the therapists we have seen in our former home town. We recently moved to the Rochester area inorder for my son to attend school. We have gone through a lot of changes-the past few years-not just moving but divorce and other stuff. My son really needs to see someone. Have you tried the ocfoundation.org website, to look for therapists in your area? If not, on the opening page, look under Information and Resources. Click on " Find a doctor - online " . You can also try anxiety clinics. They often know how to treat OCD correctly, with CBT and ERP, since OCD is an anxiety disorder. Hope someone in your area is able to recommend someone specific.
