My 6yr old, OCD, anxiety and possible PDD-nos son's OCD has been going full

steam the past few weeks. Last week Friday (not yesterday) he was stung by

yellow jackets because he wouldn't stop trying to reach a branch and wouldn't

let me help him. When I dragged him inside after 20 minute he had brought them

in the house. He is pciking paint off real cars in parking lots, out apt parking

lot, my car, rubber off his bike tires, stickers off anything, breaking stuff

off his cars (not in a rage, but more of a picking type thing). Scool doesn't

start till sept 8th so I have no idea what is triggering him. He also doesn't

want to go anywhere, just stay home and maybe go outside. He goes if I make him

but won't paly at the park, etc. I know the wasps must have been traumatic but

his OCD was really bad before then. I have no idea anymore how to help him. He

sees his therapist wed but she spends 40 minutes max with him and it isn't

enough. He still rages at kids and I can tell his auditory processing is giving

him problems as he will think kids said one thing when they said soemthing else.

Is this possibly PDD stuff? He sees his doc on the 26th and maybe his meds need

to be changed (he is on 50mg zoloft, .25mg risperdal and 2mg melatonin). He

seems tired all the time. But if this is due to a passing anxiety I would rather

try to help him with that than increase meds. He won't talk about why he does

the picking other than saying he likes to do it. I am afraid in 1st grade int he

fall he will eitherA. provoke a kid by what he says or B. get in real trouble

for pciking .
