Feel free to change anything you want if you use it, of just delete t he whole

last part ( he primarily has symmetry, ordering/cleaning (but not germs),

perfection, touching , tapping, just right stuff) The first part is about OCD in

general: the truths, misconceptions, what it might look like in school, or at

home, what we do about it, accomidations that might be made, meds used, side

effects of meds etc. I am an emergency room doctor, ( althought that is CLEARLY

not my qualification to write this power point) so have some medical background.

I gave the talk to the entire school staff at an inservice before the year

ended. It was very well recieved, and I have to say, the teachers and staff

were very understanding when issues came up and ALWAYS contacted me if they

questined something.
