Just reading your post Judy. Glad this has settled down some at least. Since

it has changed to licking it sounds like it may well be compulsion based or as

you say a tic - how exactly you would tell the difference I don't know!??? Sure

hope the psychiatrist can rule out any medication aspects to this.

I'm glad it's a bit better, Judy, but so sorry this is still happening.

Arrrrrrghhhh! That wait for doctors is the worst when you are in a crisis mode.

Yet, I know for us, once we got there, they didn't always have answers anyway.

So much is not understood or known. <sigh> It's frustrating!

At least in your case, you can have some testing done and hopefully a med

change, (agreeing with you about one at a time). I pray something brings him

some relief soon.

You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
