Hi BJ,

Well he is not screaming anymore and not hyperextending the tongue, but is

sticking it out every 10 seconds or so. Now he has added licking his lower lip

to the scenario.

His psychologist he sees  told me he believes this is part of the OCD, just

another compulsion, due ot the stress of being back at school, but I'm not so

sure.It seems to be a tic.

He has an appt Wed with the psychiatrist and I can't get him into the

pediatrican until Monday to check for strep and Lyme again.

Thanks for your support

Hugs

Judy

Hi, Judy. I just wanted to give you a hug ((((((you))) ))). You've been through

so much with your little guy. He's had more than his share of all this, in his

short, young life, so far. <sigh>

I also wanted to mention that my Dad had tardive dyskinesia, brought on by the

usage of Risperadol (for dementia). His seemed to be involuntary. But, I suppose

it could be different individually. ..Not sure. I hope you get some answers

soon.

How is he doing? Any more of those episodes?

Hugs and prayers,

BJ

just can't beleive this!! After all that is going on with my dd and the school,

my son had a massive panic attack last night, becasue he could not stop

thrusting his tongue out. He was screaming and crying his tongue hurt and he had

no control over his body.He has OCD, ADHD, and Tourettes(last diagnosis)

and I'm really scared now. I think I'm going to have to pull him out of school.
