Guest guest
Hi Sondra, These are my personal recommendations: 1) All foods containing processed sugars should be eliminated. This includes cakes, candy, jams, sodas etc. Cut back on fruits and fruit juice as well. Lemons and limes are permissible, however. 2) Avoid all processed foods, especially white flour products, and products containing yeast: breads, crackers and pastas and white rice, alcohol, soy sauce, etc. 3) Avoid fungal products such as mushrooms and cheeses. 4) Drink plenty of water to help your body detoxify. 5) Start the day with a cup of hot water and lemon juice. This helps liver detoxification, as your liver is likely overburdened from the alcohol produced by candida overgrowth. 6) Try to eat vegetables that inhibit the growth of Candida, such as raw garlic, onions, cabbage, broccoli, turnips and kale. It's nice to make a big pot of soup from these vegetables, and then add some raw garlic just before you eat it. 7) Eat your protein primarily from fish, chicken and turkey. Cut out red meat for about a month as they can stress a weakened digestive system. 8) Eliminate margarine and anything with hydrogenated vegetable oils, and consume olive oil, butter and coconut oil instead. Virgin coconut oil also has natural antifungals. 9) Eat smaller meals, chew your food well, and take digestive enzymes with meals. 10) Take Oregano oil gel caps, another natural antifungal 11) Take probiotic bacteria and natural yogurt (unsweetened). I'm sure you will get lots of other helpful advice. > which is the most effective way to do a yeast detox? Guest guest
Hey , does essiac tea help with yeast? Debi -
Guest guest
Hi Debi, Yes, one of the herbs in Essiac tea, Rheum palmatum, is very effective for many types of GI problems as it reduces infections in the bowel that cause inflammation. Essiac is primarily used for malignancies, but also for diabetes, MS, lupus, thyroid disorders, stomach ulcers (caused by bacteria), parasites, and due to its liver cleansing abilities can help reduce Herxheimer reactions during a Candida detox. > Hey , does essiac tea help with yeast? > > Debi
