Guest guest
I am not sure that I can be any help but I can relate. My daughter, 16, who also has OCD, sensory processing disorder and aspergers traits, had black rages that started around 12 years old. She has a super sensitive system and does not respond well to SSRIs. We ended up taking her out of public school and have had a long and varied school experience since then - not all that successful. We are currently treating her with homeopathy and she is beginning to talk a lot. She was just telling me a couple of days ago about how the boys used to pick on her in fifth grade and started crying. I asked her why they were picking on her and she said, " Because I'm different, duh! " She has always internalized her feelings and has not shared them with anyone - very proud and defensive. I just wonder if anything is going on at school that he can't verbalize and is just acting out when he gets home. I am not saying that the bullying caused her problems but that her problems caused the bullying and because she has impaired social skills, she was not able to tell us what was going on.
