Guest guest
How is she taking the powder? Just thinking if she doesn't like what she's mixing it into, then try something else; like my son liked it best mixed in with a cup of Kool-Aid, didn't like it with something like orange juice or apple juice. I guess you could buy the empty capsules to put the powder in...but still might add up to a lot to swallow. The pills/tablets you can buy it in now generally (that I found) end up being too many to take to get up to the gram dosage/day. > > Inositol in capsules? I know this has come up in the past but my 12 year > old is asking again for this. She hates taking the powder. Guest guest
Thanks .I had heard that (bout too many capsules to take) and I shared that with her today but she said she didn't care if she had to take 10. We mix it in yogurt but I have tried juice and water even. I do believe it is more the fact that she does not like to be " different' or have this condition. Do you know if you can buy it in capsules. She might reneg on her complaints if she has to take capsules for a bit~! Jane jteke@...
Guest guest
You can try to cap the powder yourself with a capsule making thing. There are a couple of different ones: http://www.luckyvitamin.com/item/itemKey/68776 or http://www.luckyvitamin.com/item/itemKey/58882 You can find them other places as well. I do this for several things since we prefer caps here as well. It is pretty easy to put the inositol powder into the caps. Guest guest
This is what I was thinking of too, you can purchase empty capsules and make your own. (My brother does this with some things) As the other reply said, lots of places; google buy empty capsules and you'll turn up a lot. > > > > Thanks .I had heard that (bout too many capsules to take) and I shared > > that with her today but she said she didn't care if she had to take 10.
