Guest guest Posted September 12, 2009 Report Share Posted September 12, 2009 Hi all, So my dd that I wrote about earlier continued to be dizzy at school, which was new, so off to the ped doc. Radiographs showed she's not emptying bowels (we thought she was better because she was no longer forcefully having bowel movements all day long due to compulsion...she swung back the other way apparently), bloodwork was all normal, but she has lost 3 pounds in 3 weeks because appetite is so off (then had major panic attacks leaving doctor after blood draw). Can OCD cause her to lose touch with natural things like appetite and the need to poop? We have appointment with first pyschiatrist Oct. 2....I am thinking she finally needs meds for her OCD and GAD (possible Aspe as well, just not diagnosed " yet " ).
