Couls be a tic, however I dont think that Celexa is associated with tics. There

are a lot of kids ho have nondescript and transient tic that may go away as she

grows. Talk to the pdoc about it.

My DD did a similar vocal tic. She also twists her neck now. I

associate the tics more with anxiety than med. I don't think a tic is

enough of a reason to discontinue a med if the med is helping the

OCD. Now my DD is grunting so a would trade it for the quieter throat

tic of years gone by.

Research a condition called EPS...it seems that some of your childrens grunting

and throat issues may be caused by the meds...(Antipshychotics) I immediately

took my son off abilify when I noticed his throat was having spasms and the

benadryl didn't help with it...

Could be a tic, but if it's directly related to the time when you started

Celexa, I'd call the doctor and/or pharmacist about it. Anxiety can make tics

worse and the Celexa hasn't had enough time to become effective. If there were

tics in the past, perhaps you have your answer. Good to ask questions in any

event
