Carole so good to hear from you. Sorry for all your ups and downs. I am

way behind in emails, again lol.

Your question has probably been answered. I went thru Canada to get my MTX

injection when (don't know if it still is) the USA couldn't get it anymore

for whatever reason. I know it was a lot cheaper that way than to pay for

it here in the states. I to am like you and have no insurance now. I didn

t use the Canada drugs website, I went to Canada. I have heard from others

though a great benefit from the website as well. If I can help you in

anything please let me know.

Happy belated birthday (I am sure I am late lol) I hope everything stays

okay and you guys don't get hit hard again with all these storms.

Love and hugs

Hello Stilligans,

Hello to all the new folks and welcome. This is the most wonderful site

in the universe, bar none! You'll find info, love and understanding beyond

what you'll ever imagine! I'm not always around as much as I'd like as I'm

always scrambling somewhere trying to make money to pay for the costs of

having

Stills (which can be substantial, that's for sure) but I try to read most

of

the posts.

Hello to all the " old " folks as well. I've missed you all and I want to

thank you all for all the kind thoughts and prayers I've felt coming my way

the past several months. My prayers have been with you all as well.

I'm not trying to single out anyone but I do want to thank Caroline for

all your kind help - I might be getting my Kineret thru the manufacturer,

that's still pending. Someone asked about Kineret when you get stills older

I

got stills in my 40's and I've been on Kineret for 5 months now and it's

great.

Lynn, boy that move took a toll on you. You are always in my prayers

sweetie and I hope you'll be feeling 100% soon.

Melt, thank you as always - don't know what we'd do without you and

your

positive and hopeful attitude. Same for you Barb as well. For me you 2 are

my cheerleaders (which I sure do need).

Kirk, it's great to hear from you again. We've missed you a ton.

To all the fellow Floridians and others in Dennis's path - good luck

and

stay dry. I had a 15 second trip to the car yesterday and was totally

drenched in that time period, unbelievable rains. Be safe friends.

Oh, oh - brain freeze, can't think of more stuff. I'll start responding

to some of the other emails soon.

OK, now for the question part. Unfortunately, I did lose my health

insurance and I'm trying to find places to purchase drugs. I'm also

contacting

manufacturers as well. I did check Costco for prices and was absolutely

amazed

at the difference between their prices and Walgreens. Thanks for the heads

up

on that one (can't remember who wrote that email). However, the drugs still

cost a lot so now I'm checking Canada drugs. Anyone with that

experience????

Good luck, bad luck, any luck???? I'd really appreciate any input on that.

Even though I lost the insurance because I was unable to afford the

$1500 per month anymore, I feel like the weight of the world has been taken

off

my shoulders. Al's even noticed as well, and we're actually laughing and

loving with each other for the first time since the health insurance more

than

doubled in cost in 2/05. Didn't realize how that cost drained me

emotionally and

mentally. Hopefully we'll find a new path to obtain medical help but for

now

I still have faith that it will happen.

Well, it's going to be a fun weekend for me. My birthday is Sunday and

at work yesterday they had a party for me and gave me a $50 gift

certificate

to Outback (the first nice restauranct we'll be going to in years and

years)

and my boss gave me a free deal that gave me $90 in commission so that was

super nice. Today I'm 54 , tomorrow I'll be 53! *(That's cuz last month I

thought I was going to be 55 but totally forgot my age!) So, I imagine more

of the

brain cells will continue to disappear now at 53.

Well, enough rambling. If any of you are still reading I sure do love

you all.

Feel good everybody!

Carole From Hollywood FL
