Guest guest
Yes, I saw this article but did not post it. The more I get to know Aspies and deal with them, the more I think that while most avoid social interaction because others' emotions are too intense for them, I am also beginning to feel that there are some Aspies who really cannot understand how others feel in any given situation. To be blunt: Some Aspies DO lack empathy. They literally do not know what others are feeling, possibly because they themselves do not even know what they are feeling much of the time. Of course, maybe they do not try to sort out their feelings because doing so would be too intense for them, thus if they cannot understand their own feelings, they will not be able to understand others' feelings either.
