Guest guest
I really need to vent, hope you all don't mind. Having just been diagnosed a few weeks ago with RA I have not suffered the cold temps yet, until now. Alabama had a cool snap and if I didn't feel it I wouldn't believe the pain. I had asked my doctor to allow me to try to make it without meds. Her reply was " you'll know when it's time and you'll call me " . I called her office today after 3 nights of constant pain (to the nausea point) to be told that the first available appointment was Nov. 17! I probably said things I shouldn't have. They finally agreed to ask her if they could " squeeze " me in and call me back, which they didn't. What can I do for a month to live through it? I have to work. And, to add injury to the pain, my 21 year old daughter was diagnosed with Fibro (which I have also) and is being tested for Lupus and RA. This is just so sad! Thanks for listening. emily
