Mom Charged With Denying Son Cancer Medication

Prosecutors in Massachusetts say a woman's decision to withhold cancer

medication from her 8-year-old son will likely cost the boy his life. (July

2)[Notes:video from WHDH] Fraser knows he likely has little time left to be

with his son .

The boy suffers from autism -- and was diagnosed in 2006 with lymphoma.

But two years ago 's chances were survival were 90-percent. Now they're

roughly 10-percent. Police say part of the blame rests with his mother. They

say Fraser's ex-wife, LaBrie repeatedly canceled the boy's chemotherapy

appointments, and failed to pick up his medications.

He was on an at home chemo medicine and she just failed to pick it up LaBrie is

charged with child endangerment. She's been released without bail -- a move that

has outraged 's father, and aunt.
