This is both good and bad. It is good the help is finally coming, but bad because of the timing. With nationalized health care on the way, I am worried that anyone found to have a genetic health condition, particularly one that is somewhat debilitating and expensive, will be denied access to medical care, especially in case of a life-threatening emergency. Then there is the threat of prenatal genetic screening.
