I hope you finally found a doctor that will listen to you... never take no for

an answer. I am 28yr old, mother of two dx'd with rheumatoid arthritis,

sjogren's, and numerous other ailments for other message boards, lol ... don't

be afraid to holler when you need a shoulder.

I was finally officially diagnosed yesterday with fibro. I have been

in pretty much constant pain for years now and was never able to find

a doc that would listen.

My mom is also a member on this board, that is how i found out about it!

(Hi mom!)

I was put on 50mg of Zoloft and 10mg of Flexeril yesterday so

hopefully in a couple of weeks i will see a difference.

I am looking forward to meeting you all!

It breaks my heart to see my precious child having to post on this

board. I had so hoped that you wouldn't be plagued with my

ailments. Please read all that you can find and all I send and

learn everything you can so you will be educated BEFORE you go to

the doctor! This is the place to learn and ask questions. I love

you!

Hi Bee,

I've just joined this group (yesterday actually). I have to say I think you

have A LOT of great information here!

I recently started adapting the " Paleo Diet " (or caveman diet as some people

refer to it). I had been doing this for about a week and probably eating more

FRUITS than I should have been every day.

I noticed I had to pee about every 5 minutes and 3 or 4 times a night! I went

to my Dr. thinking I had a UTI but everything was negative except for elevated

ketone levels. My Dr could do nothing for me - so I went home to investigate on

the internet and came across your Group.

While I do not think I have a problem with Candida provided I eat fruit

minimally (1 serving/day) I think I may start adapting my " Caveperson " diet to

include some of your ideas/principles.

Any advice you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

Also - I think you are extremely brave for putting your story out there for

people to read! My goodness I'm so glad you've found a way to eat/live that

makes you feel healthy (you also look radiant in your current picture!).

Thanks for making such a great resource for people to use!

Best,

==> Hi . Welcome to our group. That's great you are enjoying

the information!

==>Having to urinate frequently wouldn't indicate any kind of UTI,

unless it was accompanied by pain. Some foods are diuretic causing

you to urinate more often. It is possible that fluids you are

consuming aren't being properly utilized by the cells. In order for

the cells to utilize water mainly they require minerals and good fats

as recommended on my program. See my main article " How to

Successfully Overcome Candida " and look for the section on Minerals -

it is in our Group's Files (left menu) in the 2nd folder.

==>Thanks, and you are very welcome!

Hi ,

I see that Bee already gave you great info, I just wanted to add

something that helped me some. I get bloated at times, and this seems

to increase my frequency issues. What helped me was massage. I know

it sounds weird, but check out the file on frequency in the folder

called C) Massage Techniques & Helps. It might be helpful, its worth

at least trying a few times to see if it makes a difference.

Take care, and welcome to the group. " )
