I am sorry life is so hard for you. I definitely know what you are talking

about. The fears associated with my future with this disease are challenging me

daily. I think I am just thinking too much and it is stressing me out. I am in a

lot of pain and very fatigued. I think I am fighting to stay out of a hospital.

If you ever want to talk let me know. It can be so hard sometimes, but I will

pray that it gets easier for you. God Bless and good luck!

Love Always,

Stress is a big deal for us with the dragon. Both mental and physical.

Same with extremes in heat and humidity. Then again as a parent of a

teen also when do they not cause stress in our lives. Now were did I

put the repair manual for teens. Any one have one we can all use I

think mine for got to come with one

Love to all and slaying dragons were ever I can

Marty,

I think the same thing about my teens where did I put the manual on how to raise

a teen and of course how to cope with their many moods, and wants all the time.

I have 4 teen girls in my house, so needless to say " I WANT TO RUN AWAY " , oops

did I say that?

I am so looking forward to Vegas and getting away to have fun and not deal with

the teenagers in the house.

BTW- my eldest asked about the definition of " Attitude " and I told her in one

word- Teenagers!

Love and Hugs = lots of low and free pain days...

  • 6 months later...

Esther!!!!

You sound like my life! My husband is disabled and in

constant pain with gout, arthritis and asthma, and is

very little help with our 3 kids. I recently found out

that (probably due to stress) I have high blood

pressure and am borderline diabetic. I have to lose

10-20 lbs. in 3 months or I'll have to take medication

to regulate my levels. Losing weight is not the

easiest thing in the world, especially when I am

taking care of the rest of the family. My husband's

ailments make him VERY cranky, so not only do I have

to take care of poopoo painting and tantrums and

homework and packing lunches and laundry AND providing

an interactive healthy learning environment, I have to

tiptoe around his mood swings and anger at the

world,......

And so now I'm paying the price with my health.

Stress, stress, stress. I need a weekend away, alone,

anywhere....I'd even go to Disney. I hate Disney.

Yours in stress,

My stress got so bad last Spring that I literally was laying in bed one night

feeling like the weight of the world was sitting on my chest. I went to the ER

and they said that I had a panic attack and to try to relax more. Too much

stress is HARMful to your health.

I make sure that I see my best friend once a week which is a big de-stressor

and I stay away from alcohol. That can get you into trouble big time. Also, I

talk to others like on this list, and in person I meet with a support group once

a month.

Everybody take a deep breath and RELAX a little!!!!!
