Downstate Putnam County sheriff's police found the bodies of 9-year-old Duncan Connolly, 7-year-old Jack Connolly and their father, Connolly, 40, around 5 p.m. Sunday, a McClean County sheriff's press release said. The release said the bodies were found in a " secluded remote area in Putnam County. " The release said that the two brothers' bodies were found in the back seat of a vehicle. Connolly was found approximately 60 feet to the west of the vehicle, the release said. Autopsies are scheduled on all three today at 1 p.m. Further details are expected to be released at a press conference at 4 p.m. in McLean County. Police previously described Connolly as possibly suicidal. The Amber Alert was issued after he failed to return the boys to their mother in LeRoy, Ill. after a March 8 court-ordered visit. Police thought Connolly was possibly headed toward Hoffman Estates, where the family had relatives. A felony kidnapping warrant was issued for Connolly on March 9, 2009. On a Facebook group called " The official bringing Jack and Duncan Connolly home safe group, " people are expressing their condolences.
