All they need to do is be telegenic and be able to read a teleprompter. Still, not recognizing a mountie nor realizing that they ride in cars moreso than horses these days, is really something. " It's demonstrative of the type of people we have running the show. If they are news people, it they ought to be aware more than the average Joe about how other countries are run, and they ought to have done their research up front about proper forms of address and proper title of another country's leader. These are the folks feeding us the news. Is it any wonder the countnry voted the way it did during the last election? The media all but told the country who to vote for and now look at where we are. If you ever had a kid in your class who constantly said " I don't get it! " when given some new skill to memorize, remember that because that kid had charisma and panache and good looks, he or she grew up to be an influential position that sways people every day on core issues and misinforms people with incorrect facts.
