Guest guest
Hi Sandy!! Great to hear from you! I'd thought of you & Bre recently, (and not just due to wondering about the fires in California). I was pretty sure Bre would still be doing well, she was such a great role model for bossing back OCD and teaching others. I'm sure she will do well off medication, she's got the ERP skills and understands OCD. (20) is now at college too, moved in there Aug. 19. He's at Chapel Hill which is just a couple hours away. Is enjoying it now, though I think the first 3 days were a bit boring, but liking it more now that classes began. His OCD isn't better or worse, per him; was hoping getting away from home might actually ease it up some for him. But for , " better or worse " doesn't mean a lot exactly since OCD is still pretty intense for him, still that scrupulosity! Well, things to do, was just peeking in and saw you " checking in " and wanted to say " hi " back! > > Hello, and everyone else. I haven't written for awhile cause Bre has been doing so well. She turned 18 and is now in college! She also went off of her medication this summer. So far she is handling her stress. I am so glad she learned the ERP skills to fight her OCD. I still lead an adult support group at her therapists office. So I am keeping busy too. So for all you newcomers, there is hope! > Sandy >
Guest guest
Hi, Sandy. That is great news about Bre. Is she still at home, or did she go away to college? How long has she been medication free? That is great that you lead a support group too. It's good to hear from you. BJ > > Hello, and everyone else.
