Guest guest
My son was at Remuda for 63 days, 2/09-4/09. He made great progress and is a lot better than when he was admitted. They make it very clear during the parent visits not to expect your child to be 'cured' when they are discharged. I was very pleased with their program and staff. I even talked to Dr Wall before my son was admitted. The other option according to my son's therapist is the treatment center in Wisconsin. Very similar to Remuda, less in cost and more experience. Remuda is Christian based and the reason it was right for us. My son is 14 and is still going to therapy and is on meds. He has a long way to go. I decided on Remuda because he was confined to our home and it was an 'intervention' point as someone else stated.
