Guest guest
This just proves that Washington can't tell fantasy from reality. Back in the 1970's, there were massive floods in the midwest that really hurt farmers. Congress wanted to pretend to care about such a miniscule constituency so they held hearings. Who did they have testify before Congress? Was it actual farmers and farm wives who had suffered and lost from the floods? No. They had some Hollywood actresses who played these farms wives in a movie. In other words, the people who lived the crisis didn't matter, but some actress who left her Beverly Hills mansion for a few weeks to pretend to be one did. I'm sure the actress was so much more knowledgeable since she spent a couple of weeks studying what others had lived for generations. DC just doesn't get it. In a message dated 4/7/2009 5:56:38 P.M. They do not want somebody who acts like a politician and can change roles the way someone changes a hat. They want a real person who understands Asian concerns.Administrator Feeling the pinch at the grocery store? Make dinner for $10 or less.
