Guest guest
Hi Louis, My son's psychiatrist is considering taking him off the seroquel and putting him on tenex and a stimulant. I am very concerned about this, because I know it can make things so much worse. I feel uncomfortable with doing all this at once. I always insist on one med change at a time. The problem is he cannot take SSRI'S. I have an appt Wed morning to discuss all of this, but I don;t think this is a smart choice.I'm afraid his OCD is going to worsen even more. He has not had any bloodwork. Thanks for responding ! Guest guest
Definitely on medication at a time. We are all looking for results in the shortest amount of time, but starting two simultaneously will give you a mixed result that you will not be able to base any judgements. My 8 year old on Luvox also went on Tenex for ADD. It did alleviate some of his compulsions but we didn't have any success for the ADD. Good luck, Glenn
