They actually had a phone conference together and discussed putting him on tenex. I guess it's just a matter of figuring out if this tongue thing is a tic or if it's his OCD thanks for your input!! It might help you to see it so that you have a better sense of what you are dealing with because catching these effects are important. I once heard someone say that the difference between that and a tic are the sort of writhing and rhythmic movements in TD versus tics. Guest guest Posted September 13, 2009 Report Share Posted September 13, 2009 Hi Bonnie, I used to work with clients that had tardive dyskiniesia, and this doesn't appear to be that, becasue it ussually starts out minor and gets worse. With my son it is the opposite. He is still doing it, but not as bad. Thanks for your help!
