Guest guest
First, thank you all for your responses to my recent post on methotrexate.... I took my first dose friday night, woke up saturday feeling horrible. I was nauseated and vomiting most of the day... I luckily have phenergan in my fridge and was able to use that, but it didn't take it all away. Sunday morning I woke up a little better, but not by much, I slept the day away... On monday morning, I called my rheumy and let him know what the weekend had been like for me...I wasn't sure if this was a normal response or not. He said, 10 years ago, he would have told me to give it another shot, but now there are other meds on the market, so next we are going to try Humira... he told me that after it starts working, I'll feel like I've never had RA, I don't believe a word of it, lol... I can't see one drug making me feel " normal " again. It's been years since I've felt anywhere near normal anyway. Maybe I'm not giving him enough credit or maybe he's giving himself too much, but I guess we'll just have to give it a try.... Does anyone else here suffer with migraines? It seems that when I'm having a bad pain day, I get a killer migraine, not sure if there is any correlation. My migraines come in different levels. I constantly have a low grade headache, 2-3 times a week I get a sick to my stomach, wow that light's bright migraine, and 2-4 times a month, I get the headache that makes me vomit, and pass out, and stutter does anyone else go through this with their RA? I hope everyone is enjoying themselves and having pain free days. take care of yourselves and God bless. kerri sue ps.... baby boy is almost back to his old self,,, thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers... today is his one year b'day --------------------------------- for Good Click here to donate to the Hurricane Katrina relief effort.
