Police Search for Missing Woman with Down Syndrome

AURORA - Police are requesting the public's help to find a 24-year-old woman with Down syndrome how was last seen leaving a bar with an adult man.

Police say 24-year-old Navarro was last seen leaving Club El Ausente near E. 6th Ave. and Sable Blvd. in Aurora early Friday morning.

According to family members, suffers from Down syndrome and has the mental capacity of a three-year-old child.

Police say they do not expect that Navarro will know how to return home or where her home is located.

The man who was seen leaving the bar with is described as a Hispanic man, approximately 5 feet tall with a heavy build and a mustache. Investigators say and the older man were seen holding hands as they left the bar. It is not clear if the pair left the bar in a vehicle. Police have yet to identify the man.

is described as a Hispanic woman, approximately 4 feet 11 inches and weighs approximately 110 pounds. She was last seen wearing a white shirt bearing a pink design and blue jeans. She has long fingernails painted pink and long black hair with blond highlights.
