Pyridoxine supplementation corrects vitamin B6 deficiency but does

not improve inflammation in patients with rheumatoid arthritis

Vitamin B6 supplementation corrects the observed deficiency in

rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients, but does not suppress

inflammation. Supplements could be beneficial for RA patients as

vitamin B6 deficiency is associated with atherosclerosis and risk

factors for cardiovascular disease.
