Guest guest
thanks , I did search the archives and I appreciate your reply. I did look up the powder and it looks expensive. Anyone know an inexpensive source? Thank you. Terry E Re: Inositol Hi Terry, Inositol is a form of vitamin B. I use Source Naturals, and I order it from iherb.com. There are many articles online about it and it's effectiveness with OCD and anxiety. I believe they suggest 12-18 grams a day, but I think that's for an adult. The most common side effects with higher doses are stomach upset and diarrhea, but if you start low and build up, you may avoid this. I started my son, now 10 yrs old and 70 pounds, with 1 gram a day, and increased every 3 days until I saw improvement. If you search the archives here, you'll find older messages about inositol and the dosages that others have used.
