Hopefully lowering her meds was exactly what she needed now!!! I love your idea about the exercise program! I could stand to lose a few pounds myself. That sure is a great motivator! Guest guest Posted September 16, 2009 Report Share Posted September 16, 2009 I exercise too. I seriously started it last summer and lost 30lbs. Then in the winter, I gained 13 back (hate to exercise indoors). This summer, I started up again and am back at my fighting weight. I found a gym nearby that is having a special (3mos/$99) and I think that may help me keep moving in the winter. We also finished our basement and I am looking for a piece of equipment that I like and might use. In the summer I do it at 6am, but as the days grow shorter, I have to find other times during the day to exercise outdoors. We also walk a mile one way to school. Exercise helps me relax and clear my head. I don't listen to music or watch tv while working out. I like the peace and quiet and the time to be able to think things through or daydream. I'm a nature lover too and find myself picking up pretty leaves and acorns or taking pictures with my phone camera as I walk home from school.
