Guest guest
Hello all, my name is and I am the Executive Director of the Reece's Rainbow Down Syndrome Adoption Ministry. Just wanted to take a few minutes to introduce myself to the group, and to share RR with you if you are not yet familiar with our efforts! Reece's Rainbow promotes the international adoption of children with Down syndrome specifically, and we raise donations as adoption grants to help families with the cost of adopting them from orphanages and mental institutions abroad. www.reecesrainbow.org In only 4 years, RR has found adoptive families for more than 300 children with Down syndrome and other special needs in 25 countries worldwide. This month we are campaigning for champions to "man" the local Buddy Walks to help us raise awareness for our ministry, as our Christmas Angel Tree project fast approaches! www.reecesrainbow.org/angeltree2010.html Even if you are not in a position to adopt, you can still make a difference by sharing our ministry with your friends and family via e-mail, blogs, Facebook, etc, and to help raise money as an adoption grant for a child who steals your heart. Reece's Rainbow is also able to serve Canadian families to adopt our children, and donations are welcome through Paypal from sponsors worldwide. At this time, many "western" countries such as Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Germany do not permit citizens to adopt children with special needs abroad. But this means your fundraising and awareness efforts are even more critical! Please do not hesitate to write me off list bamaroberts@... with questions! , Executive DirectorReece's Rainbow Down Syndrome Adoption Ministrywww.reecesrainbow.org"Because every family deserves the blessing of a child with Down syndrome"....
