, so glad the Melatonin has helped so much! Yeah, I recall the feeling

when 's OCD retreated into the background and suddenly I had my evenings

back. It felt odd!

That is awesome, . I love how she said she flicked the thoughts away.

Good for her! That's taking control. :o)

The melatonin was a big help for our son too. Eventually, he was able to stop

taking it and sleep without anything to help. I never thought we'd see that

day, but was glad when it came.

Let us know how she does on the meds. Do you know which one you are going to

try? If I remember right, doesn't your daughter have OCD and GAD, like our son?

Meds helped him with both. I hope you have as good of results as we did.

Keep us updated, please.

know how I could function without this support group! I needed some hopeful

words, and we have decided to try medication for my daughter. After reading your

stories of how your children benefitted, I can't help but think that this will

indeed help my daughter. We have been living a nightmare right along w/her and I

don't see any improvements over the last couple of months... only things

deteriorating.

is perscribed (I discussed at length on the phone w/her already). My daughter

even prayed last night saying, " Please help me because I don't know if I can

take this much longer. " HEARTBREAKING to hear that from a 9 year old! I'm

praying that the medication will be the miracle she is praying for.
