NLD and Aspergers - services

Just a thought here. So far as getting services, supports. The last I read,

NLD doesn't have a diagnosis code but hopefully will when they redo the next DSM

(Diagnostic and Statistical Manual) , don't know if they have yet? NLD and

Aspergers are really closely related so far as the similarities. So to get

services, supports, it presently would benefit to go for an Aspergers diagnosis.

Once you have a diagnosis, the school should support all the student's needs no

matter why they have the need (whether it relates to the dx or not).

Any thoughts on this?
