Guest guest
I haven't looked for specifics on the launch yet. However, there isn't much difference between a satellite payload and a nuclear warhead. The Russians have modified some of their sub-launched ballistic missiles and used them to put small satellites into orbit. All it took was a little work in the payload section, work that could be undone, and they were ready. Question: Have any vague schematics been found relating to the launch vehicle? Certain structural elements are often different between ballistic missiles and satellite launchers, as well as other technical details. Also, at what altitude does the rocket overfly Japan? Guest guest
Just like the League of Nations. That organization was supposed to be a forum for solving international crisis, but it did nothing of the sort. The Armenian Genocide, Balkan Wars, and wars all around the rest of the world. Then there were the failed treaties such as the Naval Arms Limitation Treaties that set limits on the size and number of warships a nation could have. It didn't work, in particular because it prevented coastal fortifications from being modernized, leaving them vulnerable to attack by modern weapons, like aircraft from carriers. The UN, is just the same. The potentates spend their days dreaming of global domination, while things like Darfur, Rawanda, and the corruption of their peacekeeping forces continue unabated. Nothing will come of this. In a message dated 4/5/2009 11:13:23 A.M. Security Council to call an emergency meeting. Feeling the pinch at the grocery store? Make dinner for $10 or less.
