Guest guest
Hi , Thanks, and I would love the name of that story. We parents were just talking this morning about finding some appropriate books (unlike Harry Potter or books with dragons, lol). Guest guest
, The Relaxation and Stress Reduction Workbook for Kids by Lawrence E. Shapiro and Robin K. Sprague. I got it in-store at Borders for $16.95. It talks about being a Stress Detective and has techniques and stories for guided imagery, mindfulness, yoga for kids, and a variety of other relaxation techniques. So far, all we have used is the guided imagery. It has kid friendly images and stories. Good luck, > > > From: katherinedobbs@... > > > Subject: Not falling asleep due to > bedtime anxiety > > To: " OCD " < > > > Date: Sunday, September 20, 2009, 12:24 AM > > Another night, another bedtime, > > another 1-2 hours trying to help my dd9 move past her > > bedtime anxiety and fall asleep.
