Hello forum members:

Do you live in a major city?

How would you feel if your home or workplace or a (suposedly) altered photo of

you or your family was displayed on the internet for millions of potential

viewers to see??

Copy and paste either of the links below to see an article expressing concerns

about this new 'service.'

Personally I would not want pictures of my home or self to be displayed for all

to see.

Later I'll post more thoughts on this topic.

I find it discouraging. But in today's world, most people think it's a " KEWL "

idea. So it is here to stay whether we want it or not.

Major city or not, blurred photos or not, I really don't feel it's anybody's

business other than my own (and the authorities if they feel the need to be

informed) as to where I am and where I go and I don't appreciate the thought of

having my home easily viewed for thieves to survey as they plan their next break

and enter or home invasion.

I forgot to add this little question: Will we be able to successfully sue

Google if it can be proven that their little camera gizmo was partly responsible

for an increase in child abductions by non-custodial parents bent on revenge

against their former partners?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Hi Raven;

to your comments about break ins and abductions, I will add:

or people who fled an abusive situation, made a new life for themselves, and now their abuser knows where they are,

or someone who has a rare breed of dog or cat; and a photo of their yard and house with animal in yard is posted for the world to see....

or someone who is later targeted for a hate crime because a photo is posted of them enjoying their own property and a bigot now knows where someone of their ethnic group lives....
