Guest guest
Hi everyone. I need some advice.? My 7 year old really struggles in the morning getting dressed.? Shirts are either too close to her neck which may choke her or they're too low and her nipples will show.? Shorts are too short, too long, gap in the back,? or too tight on her thighs.? Underwear either gives her a wedgie or it's too low or it will fall down.? It really doesn't matter what it is, she'll have a problem with it.? Once she's finally dressed and eating breakfast that is usually the end of it and she is fine at school.? But, how we get there is torture.? Lots of yelling on her part and I either walk away and leave her up there to calm down herself and figure it out or I end up yelling back.? I've tried helping her pick out an outfit the night before or planning outfits a week ahead of time.? Sometimes this helps the morning but it's still a battle at the decision making time.? I'm going to start a reward system where she can earn points for getting dressed without the drama but would love to hear any other advice anyone might have.? Thanks. Missy?
